African Safari Party At Iguana Mack’s

We had a great line-up of rocking performances by Well Strung, DJ’s Michael Stylus and Wdy, Chocolate Factory, Strange Young Things, and the D. Payne Drum Circle, Featuring Sven, Johnny Milton, and P-Price!

The work of local artists Ryan Griffin, Nathaniel Kastelic, and Ryan Clyde was also on hot display. Thanks guys!

It was a great turn-out and we would like to thank the Owners and Staff of Iguana Mack’s for so generously providing a moving, charismatic venue and atmosphere for the good times!

Not to mention the customers of Iguana Mack’s! You guys are unbelievable! Stay tuned for what we host next at this location once we return from our journey’s abroad!

Shanda Panda @ The Stray Cat Bar and Grill

The owners Eric and Nate went out of there way to help their very own Shanda Hurst pay her way as one of the volunteers on this summer’s African Excursion. Even the staff got suckered into signing up for a pie-in-the-face donations drive! The music was good, and the bar was buzzing with folks interested in Shanda’s endeavors:

“The majority of learning will occur in Africa, but the amount of knowledge shared with everyone we come across these past weeks has also been a experience for everyone. It’s so easy to disregard the commercials we see on TV and the pictures we see in the paper. The fundraiser and passion we carry in preparing to leave really educates people and enables them to become more aware and concerned of the cause we are fighting for. We raised funds for the trip, but more importantly we raised the awareness.” - Shanda Hurst

Those who attended were as compassionate in their donations as they were moved by the tunes. Performances by Chris Parsons, Phil Kieser and Max Greenwald, Members Of Monster Taylor Orris and Dustin Perotti, Dylan Pratt, and Trevor Orris soulfully echoed along the artwork and amidst WDY’Z Warehouse on a beautiful Phoenix Friday Night.
